Company

We founded Boomzap Pte. Ltd. in 2005 with the dream of empowering local developers around the world to build the best casual games in the world. Already, our games can be found in six languages on most major distribution channels in all major regional markets, and we have many more in development. In less than a year, we have become the premier casual game development studio in Southeast Asia, and with our recent addition of Boomzap Inc. in America, we’re getting bigger, better, and more diverse every day.

Founders

The founders of Boomzap, Allan Simonsen and Christopher Natsuume, have over 15 years of combined experience in the video game industry, with millions of units sold in over a dozen entertainment titles for PC, PS2, Xbox, and NGage. Boomzap is their realization of a lifelong dream to run a development studio that genuinely respects developers and consumers. They are proud to be active members of the worldwide independent game development industry, speaking at conferences in Asia and America, and helping to coordinate the Singapore chapter of the International Game Developers Association.

Developers

Boomzap is headquartered in Singapore, and we are proud to be regional leaders in the rapidly growing Southeast Asian game development industry. However, our development teams are not limited to our own home turf! We are using some of the best developers from locations as varied as Malaysia, Germany, and the USA in addition to local Singaporean talent. Furthermore, in September of 2006, we opened Boomzap Inc. in Seattle to better distribute and market our products to the North American audience.

We’re growing fast, and actively seeking talented producers, designers, programmers, artists, sound technicians, and translators around the globe for our project teams. If you have the experience, the drive, and the creativity to be part of the Boomzap team, don’t hesitate to send your resume and links to your current work. Experienced game developers only, please. (Visit our Jobs page for more information.)

Additionally, Boomzap also works with complete teams interested in creating casual games. We can supply financing, technology, testing, localization, and/or distribution to game developers who want to concentrate on the important part: Making the game great! We are especially interested in developing relationships with established developers in the Asia-Pacific region for titles that will do well in the growing Asian markets of Japan, Korea, and China. Interested? Let us know. Please do not send unsolicited game designs, assets, or code.
